We report public facts; we do not assess your case

The fire records on this site describe sourced, dated public information — what caused a fire, its documented impact, and whether litigation exists in the public record as of a stated date. Those questions depend on facts unique to each person and can only be answered by a licensed attorney.

Litigation status is durable and dated

Where we show a litigation status (for example, "litigation filed" or "resolved"), it reflects the public record as of the date shown, attributed to a source. Statuses can change. A date in the past does not mean information is wrong — it means that is when the status was last confirmed. As confirmation ages, our pages become more conservative, never less.

No guarantees

Past results do not guarantee future outcomes. Nothing here promises or estimates any recovery, settlement, or result.

Sources and accuracy

Facts are drawn from public sources such as CAL FIRE, government records, and court and regulatory filings, and are rewritten in original words. Unknown values are shown as unknown, never guessed.
